Do you take a long time to read and answer questions or to solve math problems? You may
need not only a private tutor, but also a test accommodation, such as an extra time on a
test - we can assess this in our tutoring and learning center. In addition to tutoring to improve
your learning, tutoring center helps to find out whether you need a test accommodation -
extra time on a test, such as SAT, GRE or a state-wide test. That is, if a regular time for a
math test or a reading portion of SAT, GRE or another test is 1 hour, you may get 1.5 hours
on this test as a test accommodation (i.e., 50% more time). Extra time on SAT, GRE, or any
other timed test provide a special accommodation to help you compensate for poor focus,
memory retention, or slow processing speed and, instead, lets you demonstrate your true
reading skills and knowledge of math, algebra, geometry, biology, chemistry or another
subject. Test accommodation for extra time on a test helps you raise SAT math, GRE
reading, and other test scores.
Our tutoring center is also known for a cognitive coaching, wherein a tutor will work with you
to improve focus, memory, organization and other cognitive skills. When GRE or SAT
tutoring is enriched by cognitive coaching done by an experienced tutor, tutoring process
improves learning and test taking skills by improving focus, memory and organization.
Cognitive Testing, IQ Testing, Educational Evaluation, and Academic Assessment will reveal
your learning style, assess academic knowledge of math or reading, determine whether you
